    41. Can clove oil be consumed orally or only inhaled?

    Dear Sir/Madam,
Clove oil is very strong. If taken orally, it should not be used more than 1 - 2 drops a day. It must be taken diluted with a teaspoon of olive or other oil that you use. You may also dilute it in one-third cup of yogurt or tomato juice.
A good way to use it is dry inhalation – apply 1-2 drops on a tissue and inhale oil for several minutes.

    42. Dear Sir/Madam, what do you recommend for treating flatulence?

    Dear Sir/Madam,
We recommend peppermint oil from our product portfolio. Peppermint oil relaxes digestive tract muscles, relieves spasms and eliminates flatulence. Menthol from peppermint helps digestion by stimulating the circulation of digestion fluids and bile. It is taken 1 – 2 times a day, 3 drops diluted in a cup of warm tea of on a sugar cube.

    44. Dear Sir/Madam, I have a couple of questions related to skin care using your Probotanic oils: 1. Which oil is better for treating sensitive skin – jojoba or hazelnut oil? 2. Can jojoba and/or hazelnut oil be used on a daily basis in the morning and in the evening without the need to use a cream? 3. Is it good to mix jojoba and hazelnut oil? Thank you in advance, Marijana

    Dear Marijana,
Both types of oil are of good quality and have a beneficial skin effect due to their composition. There is a small difference between them - oily and sensitive skin prone to acne should be treated with jojoba oil, while hazelnut oil is better for dry/oily skin. They can be used for daily skin care both independently or as a mixture with other oils, and/or creams.
Hazelnut and jojoba oil may be mixed without fear that their efficiency will be reduced in a mixture.
Probotanic does not have marigold macerate, or any other product based on marigold.
Facial scars should be treated with marigold oil, rather than with jojoba oil. We would also like to recommend Probotanic oil for regeneration, as it is one of the best oils for treatment and regeneration of damaged and dry skin, post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation on the skin. This oil is composed of jojoba oil, wheat germs and frankincense oil.

    45. Dear Sir/Madam, I have had the acne problem for 7-8 years now (I am 23 years old), mostly in the area of jaw and neck. The skin on my face is oily and I have dandruff and oily scalp. Physicians suspected I had polycystic ovaries, since I suffered from hormonal misbalance for some time, but not to a great extent. My period is regular now, but acne just won’t go although many people tell me that the acne, when they appear, reflect hormonal misbalance. What is your recommendation? Should I take oregano oil or some oder oil? Should I apply it on the skin or should I drink it? Thank you in advance! Best regards from Montenegro!

    Dear Madam,
Our advice is to start drinking oregano oil. Oregano oil is a very strong antiseptic acting on the main causes of acne formation - Propionibacterium acnes. Our customers’ previous experience is quite good in solving similar problems in this way.
When acne and inflamed face skin soothe a bit, you can try to apply locally Probotanic oils for acne which is a mixture of unrefined jojoba oil and tea tree oil.
    Best regards!

    46. What is your recommendation for treating ulcerative colitis. My daughter has been diagnosed with ulcerative colitis – pancolitis and I would like to know whether she could drink any of your oil products along with regular treatment with Pentasa?

    Dear Sir/Madam,
Numerous studies have been conducted in recent years concerning boswellic acid found in frankincense. It has anti-inflammatory effect and thus a positive effect in reducing inflammatory processes in patients suffering from Chron’s disease, ulcerative colitis, rheumatoid arthritis...
Frankincense oil may be used but only in the remission phase (peaceful phase of illness without discomfort).

    47. I would like to know how bay leaf oil is used and its dosing method? Thank you in advance!

    Dear Madam,
Bay leaf oil is used only for external application. It may be administered on the skin, diluted in the proportion at least 4:1 in favour of some other carrier oil (e.g., almond, olive oil...).
It is also applied in aromatherapy.
    Best regards!

    48. Dear Sir/Madam, I would like to know which oil is better for problematic and oily to dry hair which is rather dehydrated? Jojoba or hazelnut oil? What is your recommendation?

    Dear Madam,
We would recommend jojoba oil for the hair type you described.
Jojoba oil in its baseline is very similar to human sebum, and/or natural oil secreted by human skin and it may be used in treating different skin problems. Rub jojoba oil into the scalp and leave it to act at least for a half an hour which will make your hair soft. Jojoba oil may be easily rinsed with a shampoo.
You may also add several drops of oil into the shampoo to prevent entangling of your hair and jojoba oil will act as a regenerator as it neutralizes strong chemicals found in shampoos.

    49. Can women use nutmeg oil? I have pains in muscles and ankles. Thank you in advance.

    Dear Madam,
Nutmeg oil may be used also by women. It is sufficient to drink 2-3 drops a day, while oil is rubbed into painful areas of your body.
The best way to dilute it is to mix 1 drop of nutmeg oil with 4 – 5 drops of olive or any other carrier oil.
    Best regards!
